Frequently Asked Questions

Learn more about our services, what to expect, and how to choose the care that fits you.

Do you accept insurance?

We don’t bill insurance directly. Payment is due at the time of your visit. This allows us to offer personalized care and spend the time your needs call for. Our community clinic offers a more accessible option for regular care. We can provide a superbill for you to submit for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Coverage varies, so check with your insurance provider before booking.

What services do you offer?

We offer chiropractic, bodywork, acupuncture, Chinese medicine, community care, facial acupuncture, microneedling, nanoneedling, LED treatments, and Astrology & Human Design consultations. Care is personalized to your health history, comfort, and goals.

Which practitioner should I book with?

Dr. Alan Crick provides chiropractic and bodywork for pain, restricted movement, injuries, and complex physical histories. Dr. Jazzy Crick offers acupuncture, Chinese medicine, gentle chiropractic, facial rejuvenation, and Astrology & Human Design. If you are unsure, contact us and we will help you choose.

What should I expect at my first visit?

Your first visit begins with a conversation about your health history, current concerns, comfort, and goals. Your practitioner will explain their recommendations and tailor the visit to you. Nothing is one-size-fits-all or rushed.

What is the difference between private and community care?

Private visits provide one-on-one time and space for more individualized or complex care. Community Care takes place in a relaxed shared setting and offers a more accessible way to receive focused chiropractic, acupuncture, gentle adjustments, or ongoing wellness support.

Can chiropractic and acupuncture be combined in one visit?

Yes. Depending on your needs and the appointment you choose, Dr. Jazzy may combine acupuncture with gentle chiropractic care. Community visits may also include acupuncture, gentle adjustments, or both.

Does acupuncture hurt?

Acupuncture needles are sterile and hair-thin. Most people feel little discomfort, although you may notice warmth, tingling, heaviness, or a mild ache. If you are anxious or sensitive, please tell us so we can adjust the pace and number of points for your comfort.

Do you work with children and families?

Yes. We offer care for the whole family and adapt each visit to the person's age, needs, and comfort. Family Wellness Sessions are also available for private groups of up to six people who would like to receive care together.

Do you offer care during pregnancy or postpartum?

Yes. Dr. Jazzy works with pregnancy and postpartum concerns as part of her acupuncture and integrative care. Let us know that you are pregnant or postpartum when booking so your visit can be appropriately tailored.

What is included in facial rejuvenation care?

Facial rejuvenation options include facial acupuncture, microneedling, nanoneedling, facial cupping, gua sha, full-body acupuncture, and LED light therapy. The exact combination depends on the service you select and your individual goals.

How are Astrology & Human Design used in care?

Astrology & Human Design offer an additional, reflective lens for exploring your rhythms and patterns. Private sessions include a focused reading, where we spend about 10 to 15 minutes examining relevant aspects of your Astrology and Human Design charts. Dr. Jazzy also offers full readings as a separate service, recommended for those who are more curious or need additional guidance.
